Look how clevar i r. I made the title of Andy McKee's album a crappy journal, go me.

So uh, as I'm trying to wrap up this dancer sketch, can anyone tell me how they would instill motion in a subject? My dancer just looks... really lifeless, and I would really like this piece to come out well.

Also, I would like ideas for backgrounds. I know I want to go with a warmer color scheme on this, probably a dulled down version of a typical African art color palette, 'cause me and bright colors don't get along, but I don't know what setting I'm coloring this way! D;

I really need to learn how to draw on my own. : |

Working on that to-do list and a self-portrait on the side. School in three days. Yay sophomore not.
